Lack of bedrooms for smokers.
It was in a tranquil but convenient location and the staff were extrememly helpful and pleasant.
I think the hotel has been overdeveloped and has lost the character of the original old hall.
New great quality hotel in an impressive old manor house. Highly recommended.
It was difficult to find due to the lack of signals.
Clean comfortable room with decent facilities. Bathroom was well appointed. The room was quiet and the air conditioning worked well.
The sloping top to the basin in the bathroom was disconcerting! We were served a glass of wine that was off and had to be changed
Stayed while attending the Duxford flying legends display, location was very good for travelling.
Could do with a cash machine, I had to drive to town centre for cash
My room was comfortable and clean and well serviced however the staff at reception were very poor. They neither greated me when I arrived nor ever answered the reception phone
My room was comfortable and clean and well serviced however the staff at reception were very poor. They neither greeted me when I arrived e.g. 'hello welcome to the ....hotel) nor did they ever answer the reception phone
I thought the room was expensive for what is was, the tea and coffee making facilities were very limited not enough milk etc for 2 people, the room was very cold and took ages to heat up and there wasnt any dressing gowns, when we asked for one it took ages to come and was absolutely huge with no belt. It would be fine if the price was less but for what we paid for the room we expected a little more. The paintwork was tatty in communal areas it could do with a little spruce up.
The staff were very friendly, we had a fantastic lunch in the restaurant, there were 12 of us and we all agreed the food was excellent. Room was clean and shower amazing, we even arrived back at the bar after midnight and the staff were still lovely, we were never made to feel that they were wanting us to go to bed. Lovely Experience.
Very comfortable with a pleasent friendly atmosphere
We stay here and visit our son who lives in Letchworth.
The breakfast was very expensive, not as hot as I would have liked and you have to help yourself.dissapointing!!! I am sure the last time we stayed there it was much better.
High quality stay for a very low cost.
Actual hotel and location were great.
Myself and our friends found the beds - in both rooms, very creaky!
Clean and comfortable. Quiet location.
A breakfast should be included in the deal price. Information in the room did not give prices for meals.
Availability of family rooms, value for money
Breakfast rather expensive, no continental breakfast.
Waitress who served canapes
bar staff making themselves cocktails whilst I was waiting to be served. Never any staff around for help. Beds were hard, pillows harder. The tea and coffee were not supplied enough, had to go to reception to get more and the receptionist was too busy and told me to go to the bar to get some more. Would not stay in any of your hotels again
